Elizabeth Gilbert said, “This is what rituals are for. We do spiritual ceremonies as human beings in order to create a safe resting place for our most complicated feelings of joy or trauma, so that we don't have to haul those feelings around with us forever, weighing us down. We all need such places of ritual safekeeping."
We create rituals to offer gratitude, set intentions, welcome a new chapter or a new life and honor the passing of a chapter or a life. Facilitating rituals is a life skill that brings conscious living to a high vibe level.
This Ritual & Ceremony Training Weekend (but it will be more than that!) will meet on Saturday morning out at our cottage, which is about a 40 minute drive from Asheville and will begin with a refresher (for those who have done Priestess work or Wheel of the Year for Men) of the Wheel of the Year wisdom teaching, then we will explore several kinds of ceremony and your particular way of doing ceremony. Take your comfort and confidence up a notch as we explore guided meditations, bringing ritual into everyday life, facilitating Moon ceremonies, Holiday ceremonies and Rites of Passage Rituals. Are you comfortable leading rituals for a group on the fly? Are there times when you shouldn't facilitate ceremony? You'll leave with expanded awareness, ideas and handouts to guide you as well as a new confidence to create sacred space wherever you go.
This is a co-ed weekend (depending on who signs up of course!) and bed space is very minimal (priority will be given to the first ones to register). You are welcome to bring sleeping bags to sleep on the floor or tents to camp out or you can drive home at night. We will meet again Sunday morning. The date will be set with participants in April, May or June depending on everyone's schedules.
In keeping the costs down, please bring your own lunches and breakfast items if you are spending the night. We can do simple pot luck dinners and those will be coordinated before the weekend. Coffee and tea is provided. The price is $150. Scroll down on the Shop page to register.
